As a former bicycle shop owner, pedicab service operator, and former professional mountainbike xc racer my knowledge and experience is outstanding relevant to bicycling. I have been contracted to be a neutral mechanic for the Vuelta Chihuahua 2006 multi-stage race in Mexico as we as for a local bicycle's team in the Tour de Gila 2013 and 2014. I operated a pedicab service for 4 years and performed all maintenance on that fleet. I started at age 15 as a bicycle shop mechanic at Crazy Cat in El Paso, Texas in 1997 and gained 15 years of profession bicycle shop experience there. In 2006 I started my own bicycle repair service aka Chuck's Bicycle Repair as a fun side gig. In 2007 I actually stopped to became an over the road truck driver and took my Specialized Stumpjumper mountain bike with me so I could explore all the cities I deliver to. In 2008, I stopped because my dad passed away. I then began a pedicab service till 2011. I did some facility maintenance work from that time until 2013 when I ramped up Chuck's Bicycle Repair. I started out of my mom's garage in west El Paso by Castellano and when i had 52 bicycles pending for repair, I then made the decision on getting a brick and mortar business going. I hosted from 4 to 5 bicycle rides a week, everyweek, for five years until 2018 when I closed down. I was offered a great opportunity with union tie at a military hospital facility maintenance as a stationary engineer. My contract has ended there and now would like to offer my experience in bicycle service once again. Si hablo espanol.
